About NY Attorney Records

NY Attorney Records is an independent data-publishing project that compiles, verifies, and presents public New York State attorney registration records in a fast, searchable format. We are not a law firm or a lawyer-referral service, and we accept no compensation from the attorneys we list.

What we do

We take the official attorney registration dataset published by the New York Office of Court Administration and make it easy to search by name, city, and law school. Every record is shown exactly as the state publishes it — including bar status, admission year, and disciplinary status.

Our principle

One authoritative source, presented without editorializing. We do not rate, rank, or recommend attorneys, and we do not sell leads or badges. Where the official record is the truth, that is what we show — and we link back to the state's own search tool on every relevant page so you can verify.

How we are funded

The Site is supported by contextual display advertising. Advertising never influences which records appear or how they are presented.
