Rochester City Court is a city court in the 7th Judicial District of the New York State Unified Court System, serving the City of Rochester in Monroe County. As described on the court's official page, city courts outside New York City hear civil suits with claims up to $15,000, handle misdemeanors and lesser offenses, and arraign people accused of felonies. Some city courts also hear small claims and housing matters.

The court has a Civil Division at 99 Exchange Boulevard in Rochester and a Criminal Division at 150 South Plymouth Avenue. A 211 directory listing says the Civil Division covers small claims, commercial claims and landlord/tenant actions. The official site lists a supervising judge, other judges, a chief clerk and a deputy chief clerk, and clerk's office hours run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arraignments are reported to take place on weekends and holidays as well.
