The current name dates from 2022, when Concord Specialty Risk, established in 2008 and headquartered in New York City, combined with a London-based Ryan Specialty unit. It is part of the Ryan Specialty family of companies.

In the United States, its operations are carried out through RSG Underwriting Managers, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Its New York office is at 1185 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, where the North American team offers tax, litigation and representations and warranties insurance.
