About Supreme Court of Korea
The Supreme Court of Korea (대법원) is the court of last resort in the judicial branch of the Republic of Korea, seated in Seocho, Seoul. It was established under the Constitution and has jurisdiction over cases other than those falling under the Constitutional Court. The Chief Justice and associate justices sit on the bench, and the National Court Administration, created under the Court Organization Act, manages administrative matters for the ordinary courts.
The court's official website (scourt.go.kr) publishes court activities, major rulings, public notices and case information. Its Public Services section offers judgment access, a Comprehensive Legal Information System for searching Supreme Court and lower-court precedents and Korean legislation, a self-represented litigation site, and an electronic deposit system. The website lists a Seoul address on Seocho-daero. The sources reviewed do not state any office or presence in New York State.
