About Westchester County District Attorney's Office
The Westchester County District Attorney's Office is a county government prosecutor that investigates and prosecutes criminal cases in Westchester County, New York. It is led by District Attorney Susan Cacace, who was elected in November 2024. The office has more than 120 Assistant District Attorneys, 34 investigators and about 90 support personnel, and it works with 41 local police departments, the Westchester Department of Public Safety and state and federal agencies on nearly 20,000 criminal cases a year.
The office is organized into divisions for appeals and special litigation, local criminal courts and training, special prosecutions, and trials and investigations. Its functions include handling appeals of criminal convictions, economic and cybercrime cases, public integrity matters, and victim services through the Victims' Justice Center, as well as training for new prosecutors and law enforcement. Its main office is in the Westchester County Courthouse at 111 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in White Plains, and it also operates seven branch offices in Greenburgh, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Northern Westchester (Yorktown Heights), Rye, White Plains and Yonkers.
